Today, even though it's Sunday, is the day to visit famous institutions!
First, we go to Stanford University, one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. It enrolls about 6,700 undergraduate and about 8,000 graduate students from the United States and around the world every year! We should not forget that Hewlett-Packard, Yahoo!, Cisco Systems, Google have been founded by students coming from this university!
However, on Sunday, the atmosphere is very relaxing. Some students play volley ball, others do bicycle and in the background, in front of the Stanford Memorial church, where we can see limousines, something is happening...maybe a wedding???
Aujourd'hui, même si c'est dimanche, nous allons visiter des établissements célèbres!
D'abord, nous allons à l'université Stanford, une des plus prestigieuses Université de recherches et d'enseignement au monde. 6.700 étudiants en cours de graduation et environ 8.000 étudiants de troisième cycle y étudient, chaque année! N'oublions pas que Hewlett-Packard, Yahoo! , Cisco Systems, Google ont été fondés par des étudiants venant de cette université !
Cependant, le dimanche, l'atmosphère est très détendue. Quelques étudiants jouent au volley-ball, d'autres font du vélo et à l'arrière-plan, devant l'église de Stanford, nous pouvons voir des limousines, quelque chose se passe… peut-être un mariage? ? ?
To follow the logic, the next visit is going to be Google and Yahoo!
Obviously, everything is closed but it's still quite amazing to be there in front of these buildings knowing the power these two companies achieved in a decade! With a benefit of 1 250 millions of dollars in 2008 for Google!

Évidemment, tout est fermé mais c'est quand même impressionant de se tenir devant ces bâtiments sachant la puissance que ces deux compagnies ont atteint en une décennie ! Avec un bénéfice de 1 250 millions de dollars en 2008 pour Google !
At the end of the afternoon, we drive to... San Francisco! Yeah!!!
En fin d'après-midi, nous prenons la direction de... San Francisco! Yeah!!!
