Now we are planning to go to Giants Sequoia Park and be there tonight but we are lost! By the time we are on the right track it's 21h! We are fortunate to find a nice Motel (with availabilities)- Motel Squaw Valley Motel (www.realezsites.com/bus/squawvalleymotel), 45minutes away from Giants Sequoia Park.
The National park of Sequoia and Kings Canyon are in fact two american parks. The National Park Service manages it as one park only because these 2 parks are very close to each other.
En revenant de Yosemite, on s'est trompé de route! Du coup impossible d'arriver à temps au Giants Sequoia Park pour dormir. On est super fatigué donc on décode de s'arrêter et grandes chances, on a trouvé un petit Motel- Squaw Valley Motel ( www.realezsites.com/bus/squawvalleymotel) à 45minutes de Giants Sequoia Park...très bien d'ailleurs!
Le Parc national de Sequoia et Kings Canyon sont en fait deux parcs nationaux américains. Mais comme ils sont proches l'un de l'autre le National Park Service le gère comme un seul parc.

And voila! This year, I'm going to celebrate my 31st springs in the National Sequoia Park! Not too bad! It makes you think a bit though! I still need several years to reach their heights and be as big as they are…! Will I manage?!!!
In the King Canyon park, there are plenty of bears and lots of little things to remind you that they are around...
The Giant sequoias of this Park are impressive. One of them called the General Grant tree is the second largest tree in the world (81m of heigth, circumference at ground 32.8m) and obviously in the Grant Grove section of the Park.
Et voilà, c'est au Sequoia National Park que je vais célébrer mes 31 printemps! Ca fait réfléchir! J'ai encore de nombreuses années devant avant de devenir aussi grands qu'eux...! Vais-je y arriver?!!!
Dans le King Canyon parc, il y a plein d'ours et plein de petites choses pour te rappeler qu'ils sont tout autour...
Les sequoias géants de ce Parc sont impressionants. L'un d'entre eux appellé le General Grant tree est le plus large arbre du monde (81m de haut, circonférence au sol 32.8m) et évidemment dans la partie Grant Grove du Parc.
Et yes...the fresh foot prints show that a bear has definitely spent time, recently, in this log cabin...
Et oui...les empreintes toutes fraîches montrent qu'un ours vient de passer, récemment, du temps dans cette cabane...
How big...how small are we in the middle of this valley???! There are rivers and powerful waterfals all over...This is magical!
Nous nous sentons petit et en même temps grand au milieu de cette vallée...!!! Il y a plein de rivières et de cascades puissantes partout...C'est magique!
We leave this park with the heart full of light and a positive mind. I'll remember my 2009 birthday!
