We manage to find a campground close to St Helena village . Perfect!

It's in the middle of the forest where lots of people horse ride and cycle.

Nous parvenons à trouver un camping près de village de la Ste.Hélène. Parfait ! Il est au milieu de la forêt où un bon nombre de cyclistes et cavaliers viennent s'y promener.

Beringer Vineyards

Beringer Vineyards is one of Napa’s benchmark producer. It's established since 1876. The building is magnificent. It's USD25 per tasting and it's early morning so we'll wait a bit longer to do some wine tastings! Their shop is impressive with obviously their wines and beautiful items related to food and wine.

Le domaine Beringer est un des producteurs phare de Napa. Il existe depuis 1876. Le bâtiment est magnifique. C'est USD 25 par dégustation et c'est le début de la matinée donc nous allons un peu attendre pour faire une dégustation! Leur magasin est impressionant avec évidemment leurs et de beaux articles liés à la nourriture et aux vins.

St Helena

This village is in the heart of Napa Valley with a huge concentration of wine estates and beautiful old buildings. It's raining today so we are not going to walk around the village but rather visit wine estates. The perfect weather for that!

Ce village est au coeur de Napa Valley avec une grande concentration de domaines viticoles et de beaux vieux bâtiments. Il pleut aujourd'hui donc nous n'allons pas marcher dans ce village mais plutôt visiter des domaines. Le temps parfait pour cela !

Mondavi

Robert Gerald Mondavi was a leading American vineyard operator who helped to reach worldwide recognition for the wines of the Napa Valley.

This is another beautiful wine estate...

Robert Gerald Mondavi était un opérateur viticole américain important qui a aidé à faire connaître mondialement les vins du Napa Valley.

C'est un autre très beau domaine viticole…

Opus one

The winery was founded as a joint venture between Baron Philippe de Rotschild and Robert Mondavi to create a single Bordeaux style blend based upon Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine tastings are by appointments only.

L'établissement vinicole a été fondé lors de la joint venture entre le baron Philippe de Rotschild et Robert Mondavi qui ont crées un assemblage de Bordeaux basé sur Napa Valley Cabernet sauvignon.

Les dégustations de vin sont sur rendez-vous seulement.

Silverado vineyards

This is a smaller but lovely wine estate.

While we entered the building, we noticed a romantic table with 5 tasting glasses on each side.

We looked around the tasting room and suddenly out of the blue, the guy behind the wine counter come to us and said: 'From time to time, we offer food and wine pairings to clients that they can help us improve our wines and today we choose you!!!' Ouah! We could not believe! THANK YOU! We were so attracted to this table and now we are going to experience it! And on top of it...for our 3 years anniversary!

We had a lovely time and the food paired very well with the exquisite wines!

C'est un petit mais très joli domaine viticole. En rentrant dans le bâtiment, nous remarquons une table romantique avec 5 verres de dégustation de chaque côté. Nous 'vagabondons' dans la salle de dégustation et soudainement, un homme de derrière le comptoir vien vers nous et nous dit : 'De temps en temps, nous offrons un assortiment de nourriture et de vin aux clients pour qu'ils nous aident à améliorer nos vins et aujourd'hui nous vous avons choisi! ! ! ' Ouah ! Nous avons du mal à y croire! MERCI! Nous étions attirés par cette table et maintenant nous allons en faire l'expérience! Et pour couronner le tout… nous célébrons nos 3 ans aujourd'hui! Nous passons un super moment et la nourriture va très bien avec les vins exquis!

Cet homme a marqué d'une pierre blanche cette journée!

To celebrate our 3 years, we decide to go to the culinary institute of America! Yeah!

This institute is dedicated to continuing education and career development for professionals in the food, wine, health, and hospitality fields.

The food in the restaurant is based on the terroir of the wine country. The presentation is amazing and the food absolutely divine!

Pour célébrer nos 3 ans, nous décidons d'aller à l'institut culinaire de l'Amérique! Yeesss!

Cet institut est consacré à la formation permanente et au développement de carrière des professionnels dans l'industrie alimentaire, de la santé, du vin et de l'hospitalité.

La nourriture dans le restaurant est basée sur le terroir de la région viticole. La présentation est époustouflante et la nourriture absolument divine !
